This blog post address the user’s requirement to change date layout in order to accommodate regional or user preferences. Since Sage X3 uses web technology the date layout can be changed in a simple manner.

When logging into Sage X3 you will be transported to the navigation screen (Image 1).
On the navigation screen, top right corner the name of the user will be displayed whom is currently logged into the session. Simply click on the user name and a drop down menu will appear (Image 2). The 3rd line of the drop down menu shows the user’s “regional preferences” option -> click on the magnifying glass on the right side. A new screen (Image 3) with a “list of regional preferences” will be displayed. On this list you can now select the region specific date layout you wish to use (information regarding the date format will also be displayed on each of the possible regional date selections).
